BALANGA CITY — The Bataan Police Provincial Office in Camp Tolentino here reported the arrest of a drug suspect and the confiscation of 15 grams of shabu with estimated street value of P102,000 during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sabang in Morong town on Wednesday.
Bataan police OIC director Col. Marites Salvadora said personnel of the Morong municipal station in coordination with the Bataan Police Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the operation that led to the arrest of the 53-year-old male suspect.
The suspect was apprehended after selling one small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of shabu to a police operative who posed as a buyer.
During a protective search, operatives recovered an additional sachet of shabu.
The suspect is currently under the custody of Morong MPS while charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being filed against him.
