Acting Provincial Police Director Col. Dwight Alegre expressed his strong support for the sustained anti-drug campaign of Bacoor Police, saying "the arrest of this high-value individual sends a clear message to all drug personalities that Cavite is not a haven for illegal activities."

"We remain steadfast in our pursuit of a drug-free province and call on the public to continue supporting our efforts by reporting suspicious activities to authorities," added Alegre.

P1.1-M shabu seized in Bataan

In Limay, Bataan, the Philippine National Police also arrested a high-value individual and seized shabu worth over P1.1 million in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Reformista here on Thursday.

Bataan Police OIC and director Col. Marites Salvadora said the coordinated anti-drug operation was carried out by elements of the Limay Special Drug Enforcement Unit and Bataan PPDEU in partnership with local law enforcement units after a series of intelligence reports and surveillance.

The suspect, a 28-year-old sound system operator, was caught in the act of selling illegal drugs to an undercover operative. Confiscated during the operation were approximately 175 grams of shabu with a total estimated street value of ₱1,190,000, and the marked money.

Salvadora said further investigations are underway to trace the source and potential accomplices involved in other illegal drug operations.

"Our relentless campaign against both street-level pushers and high-value drug personalities will continue with full force, as we work toward our ultimate goal — a drug-free province where every community can thrive in peace and safety," said Salvadora.
