ILOILO CITY — Authorities offered a P5-million reward for information that could lead to the arrest of a Chinese involved in the kidnapping and killing of Filipino Chinese businessman Anson Que and his driver Armanie Pabillo.
The Aklan Provincial Police Office is on heightened alert against Wenli Gong, also known by the aliases Huang Yanling and Kelly Tan Lim. Police said Gong was last seen on April 21, 2025, on Boracay Island in Malay, Aklan.
Anyone with information regarding Wenli Gong's whereabouts can contact the following numbers: 0998-598-6101, 0921-600-9209, 0963-629-4087, or 0998-598-6122. Individuals may also report to the nearest police station.
Que, owner of Elison Steel, and Pabillo were abducted on March 29 while dining at a restaurant along Macapagal Avenue in Pasay City.
The victims were found dead on April 9 in Rodriguez, Rizal province.

Three suspects have been apprehended in connection with the case: Chinese David Tan Liao and Filipinos Richard Tan Garcia and Raymart Catequista.
Liao surrendered to authorities on April 19, while Garcia and Catequista were arrested in Roxas, Palawan. All three are facing charges of kidnapping for ransom with homicide.
The Philippine National Police is actively pursuing leads to locate Gong and any other individuals involved in the crime. Authorities are also investigating potential connections to Philippine offshore gaming operators, although Que's family has denied any links to such operations.
