CAMP BGEN VICENTE LIM, Calamba City — Two suspected high-value individuals known only by their aliases were arrested during a buy-bust in Barangay Ibabang Dupay, Lucena City, late Saturday afternoon.
The operation was launched at around 5:46 p.m. through the combined efforts of the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Lucena City Police Station, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 4A Quezon, the Provincial Intelligence Unit/Quezon Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, the Quezon Maritime Police Station and the Regional Intelligence Unit 4A Intel Packet.
The operation resulted in the arrest of alias “Axl” and alias “Bebe.” The two alleged pushers yielded over 90 grams of shabu worth P612,000.
In a statement, Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky, regional director of the Police Regional Office Calabarzon, reaffirmed their commitment to curbing the illegal drug trade in the region.
“Our campaign against illegal drugs and the individuals who continue to threaten the peace in our communities remains relentless,” said Wanky.

“This accomplishment is a product of stronger coordination between government agencies and the community. We will not stop until every barangay in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) is safe and drug-free,” added Wanky.
