MANILA, Philippines–Magnolia acquired the rights of Arvin Tolentino from Titan Ultra in exchange for William Navarro in a deal involving two players that suited up in the recent Korean Basketball League season.
The Hotshots got Tolentino plus next season’s second round pick they originally owned from the Giant Risers for Navarro and a second rounder in the 52nd season in a trade, which the league approved on Tuesday.
Prior to the trade, Tolentino’s rights were picked up by Titan Ultra after it purchased the franchise of NorthPort.

Tolentino last played for the Batang Pier during the 2024-25 season, which saw him win the Best Player of the Conference in the Commissioner’s Cup.
He left NorthPort to play for the Seoul SK Knights in the KBL, but the trade raises speculation of Tolentino returning home to bolster coach LA Tenorio’s rotation.
Meanwhile, Titan got the rights to Navarro, who played for KBL champion Busan KGC Egis after a short run with Magnolia.
Magnolia got Navarro last season from NorthPort for Calvin Abueva, Jerrick Balanza and that second round pick which the Hotshots got back.
