The PBS-Salaam Radio host has been named the Bravo Woman for Media and Public Affairs 2025.

In her acceptance speech, she highlighted her community especially what happened in her hometown, Marawi City, during the siege in 2017 and that she worked tirelessly to correct the misconceptions in the media about Muslims in general.

“There are still hundreds of thousands Muslims around who are good, grounded and hope for unity and inclusivity. There, I made a decision, not just to tell stories, but to make a meaningful impact. And that is why I am here,” she shared.

Sarip-Paudac related that she was both nervous and delighted during the interview when she learned that one of the members of the board of judges was former Associate Justice and Ombudsman Conchita Carpio.

She added that she took the chance to give spotlight not only for her but for the whole Bangsamoro.

“This award is not for me alone; you just gave an award, a recognition to the Bangsamoro women, to the whole Bangsamoro,” Sarip-Paudac stressed in her speech.

Apart from her recognition, Sarip-Paudac received P80,000 to be donated to her chosen advocacy, aside from her broadcasting advocacy.

She chose Raheemah Weavers, a group of women who weave not only for livelihood but show great empowerment for women in the Bangsamoro region.

The Bravo Empowered Women Awards aims to celebrate and honor women who have demonstrated unwavering commitment to leadership and service as aligned with Zonta Club of Makati and Environs and Security Bank’s mission to enrich lives, empower businesses and build communities sustainably.
