Pest attack prompts alert in Quezon coconut sector

LUCENA CITY, QUEZON, Philippines — Coconut experts in Quezon province have been placed on alert following reports of pest infestation affecting farms in Tayabas City. In a report released Thursday, the provincial government said the Provincial Agriculturist Office–Coconut Development Division conducted pest surveillance on April 16 after farmers reported increasing pest activity in Barangay Ibabang
