PH cautions vs declaring Chinese diplomats persona non grata

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine government on Thursday warned that declaring Chinese diplomatic personnel persona non grata (an unacceptable or unwelcome person) carries serious implications, saying such a move should be considered only as a last resort when diplomatic relations have severely deteriorated. At a briefing, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said President Ferdinand Marcos
