Philippine bet Alexie Brooks made sure to own the stage during Miss Eco International 2025’s preliminary round!
For her Eco Wear, the Filipina beauty queen donned a costume by designer Tata Pinuela, taking inspiration from the West Philippine Sea.
On her Instagram page, Alexie highlighted that the West Philippine Sea is an ecological treasure.
“Despite this bounty, pollution from non-biodegradable waste poses a serious threat to its biodiversity. Miss Eco International Philippines honors this treasure with the West Philippine Sea Eco Wear, urging us to recycle and care for our Mother Earth,” Alexie’s caption said.
The costume came with a headpiece reminiscent of the abundant pearls of the Orient Seas.
Alexie’s Eco Wear made it to the Top 6.
For her Evening Gown, Alexie wore a golden ensemble by Mara Chua.
Alexie also said on social media that the look embodies the spirit of an Eco Warrior, “a strong woman, a protector of nature, and a voice for our planet.”
“This gown is a symbol of resilience, a reminder of hope, and a call to action for a more sustainable future,” she said.
Previously, Alexie won first runner-up in the pageant’s talent contest and also placed 10th in the resort wear competition.
Miss Eco International 2025 is currently being held in Egypt. The grand finale of the international pageant will take place on April 19.
