The Philippine Government, through the Department of Labor and Employment, reaffirms its commitment to upholding international labor standards through its continuous support to the work of the Committee on Freedom of Association (CFA). Undersecretary Benedicto Ernesto Bitonio Jr. represented the government in the group and committee meetings of the CFA from March 5 to 8, 2025 at the International Labour Organization (ILO) headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. As an elected member of the CFA, Bitonio also engaged with the Members-States of the Asia and the Pacific Group on March 14, 2025 on the occasion of the 353rd ILO Governing Body session, held in Geneva from 10-20 March 10 to 20, 2025.
