Philippines completes streamlined licensing for nuclear energy

MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine government has finalized an approval process for nuclear power projects as it advances plans to integrate the technology into the country’s electricity generation mix by 2032. The Department of Energy (DOE) on Tuesday said it had completed the licensing and permitting flow chart across government agencies for nuclear power plants.
