MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Stock Exchange Inc. (PSE) is set to hold an investment conference this week aimed at showcasing investment prospects in the country, particularly in publicly listed companies.
The PSE will host the second edition of InvestPH, its flagship investment conference, on March 17 to 19 in Taguig.
“After the successful inaugural run last year, we are bringing back InvestPH to reconnect foreign and local institutional investors and fund managers with our listed firms,” PSE president and CEO Ramon Monzon said.
“This is also an opportunity for other capital market participants to get updates on recent developments from the government and stakeholders of select industries,” he said.
The PSE said the first day, as with the previous year’s schedule, will be the plenary session with presentations and panel discussions on the outlook for the country’s economy, monetary policy, business landscape, capital markets and key sectors.
Meanwhile, one-on-one meetings are scheduled between institutional investors and 47 participating publicly listed companies throughout the InvestPH proper.
Over 300 participants attended the first day of the inaugural InvestPH Conference in 2025 which featured government officials, policymakers, regulators and business leaders who spearheaded the investment pitch for the country.
PSE chairman Jose Pardo earlier said that InvestPH was organized for institutional investors who contribute 80 percent of PSE’s trading activity.
“We wanted to have a venue where investors, especially foreign shareholders, can interact in person with PSE-listed companies, something which can be more meaningful than your usual earnings call or virtual investor meetings,” Pardo said during his welcome remarks last year.
“We hope this event and future versions of it, alongside other PSE initiatives for investors, will help boost liquidity in our stock market,” he said.
