PhilWeb, Okada partner for new online gaming platform

MANILA, Philippines — A new challenger is entering the country’s competitive online gaming market as listed gaming service provider PhilWeb Corp. teams up with the operator of Okada Manila to expand the integrated resort’s footprint into the digital gaming space with the introduction of a new online gaming platform.

PhilWeb’s strategic partnership with Tiger Resort, Leisure and Entertainment Inc. will see the launch of Okada Play.

PhilWeb said the collaboration marks a significant step in expanding Okada Manila’s footprint into the digital gaming space, reinforcing its position as a leading premium integrated resort in the country.

Under the agreement, PhilWeb will deliver a comprehensive online gaming platform solution for Okada Play, including a full suite of gaming content, platform technology, customer service infrastructure and marketing support.

“By working with Tiger Resort, Leisure and Entertainment Inc., we are enabling the extension of a globally recognized luxury gaming brand into the online space through a robust and scalable platform,” PhilWeb president Brian Ng said.

By leveraging PhilWeb’s expertise in regulated gaming platforms and nationwide operations, the collaboration aims to deliver a seamless and engaging user experience to a growing base of digital players.

The launch of new online gaming platform is expected to support Okada Manila’s broader digital transformation strategy, enhancing customer engagement beyond its physical property while complementing its existing online platforms and capturing new revenue opportunities within the regulated online gaming ecosystem.
