PNP activates disaster response teams amid Mayon Volcano unrest

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) has activated its disaster response teams amid the continued unrest of the Mayon Volcano in Albay. In a statement on Monday, PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said he had ordered the police force in the area “to remain vigilant and ready to provide immediate assistance
