PNP denies torture in arrest of Bulacan cop slay suspect

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Thursday denied that it tortured one of the suspects in the killing of Drug Enforcement Group (DEG) officer Staff Sgt. Renato Casauay Jr. in Bulacan last January. Police officers allegedly illegally arrested Oliver Mauricio, son of journalist Orlan Mauricio, and tortured him after he was linked
