MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police is probing a PNP officer caught driving an unlicensed police vehicle along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City.
“Any violation or administrative lapse established by the investigation shall be addressed in accordance with existing rules and due process,” PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said yesterday.
A photo of the unlicensed police car assigned to the Police Security and Protection Group was posted online.
“Concerns raised by the public shall continue to be taken seriously and acted upon through proper channels and appropriate measures,” Nartatez said.
