PNP ramps up ‘sustainable’ internal cleansing efforts

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) will focus on its internal cleansing activities to stop police misconduct before it begins. In a statement on Friday, PNP acting chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said this new direction is in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. and Interior Secretary Jonvic
