PNP to increase deployment at places of worship for Ramadan, Lent 2026

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday said it will increase its deployment of police officers to places of worship ahead of this year’s observance of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan and the Christian Lenten season. Both religious observances are expected to begin on Feb. 18. “Police visibility and community engagement
