Reports suggest that POCO is set to unveil its F7 Series globally later this month. A tipster from X claims the launch date will be March 27 according to a leaked poster.
Following POCO’s release pattern, the upcoming series is expected to include at least three models: the regular POCO F7, F7 Pro, and the F7 Ultra.
The F7 Ultra is rumored to be a rebadged version of the REDMI K80 Pro, with a 6.67-inch OLED display, 120Hz refresh rate and a 2K resolution.
It’s expected to boast the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and feature a 5,300mAh battery with 120W fast charging. Notably, the K80 Pro has a larger 6,000mAh battery, so this model might see a slight downgrade in that area.
Benchmark listings have also appeared for the F7 Ultra, revealing the phone will come with 16GB of RAM and run Android 15. Early Geekbench scores show the device hitting around 2,300 in single-core performance and 8,150 in multi-core performance.
The F7 Pro, which is likely a rebranded REDMI K80, could sport similar specs, including a 6.67-inch OLED display and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The battery is expected to be smaller than the K80’s 6,550mAh, dropping to 6,000mAh with 90W fast charging.
There’s no info about the regular variant for now though. This raises speculations that we might not see it until the REDMI Turbo 4 Pro comes outside of China in April. This model is expected to run on an unannounced Snapdragon 8s Elite chip.
Xiaomi and POCO have yet to make an announcement about the anticipated F7 Series. Stay tuned for updates.
