POCO has officially unveiled the POCO C71, a budget-friendly smartphone that combines a high-refresh-rate display with a substantial battery capacity.

The POCO C71 features a 6.88-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 600 nits, ensuring smooth visuals and clear visibility even under bright conditions. The display also includes wet touch support, allowing functionality even with damp fingers.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Unisoc T7250 Max SoC, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 2TB via a dedicated microSD card slot. The POCO C71 runs on Android 15, with POCO committing to two years of Android version upgrades and four years of security updates.

For photography, the POCO C71 is equipped with a 32MP primary rear camera, accompanied by an auxiliary unit. On the front, it houses an 8MP selfie camera within a notch.

The smartphone is backed by a 5,200mAh battery, supporting 15W charging. POCO includes the charger in the box, and the battery is designed to retain at least 80% of its capacity after three years of usage.  The POCO C71 comes with an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance and features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.

Pricing and Availability

Available in Cool Blue, Desert Gold, and Power Black color options, the POCO C71 offers two memory configurations:

•4GB RAM + 64GB storage: Priced at INR6,499 (approximately PHP 4,345.91)

•6GB RAM + 128GB storage: Priced at INR7,499 (approximately PHP 5,014.61)

The device will be available for purchase in India starting April 8 through Flipkart. Details regarding its availability in other markets have yet to be announced.

With its combination of a high-refresh-rate display, capable camera setup, and long-term software support, the POCO C71 aims to deliver a compelling experience in the budget smartphone segment.
