POLICE authorities conducted a manhunt operation for the suspect in a stabbing incident on Wednesday in Barangay Nasapahan in Lemery, Iloilo.

The victim, a resident of La Castillana in Negros Occidental, was left injured, according to the Iloilo Provincial Police Office (IPPO).

The suspect, known by the alias "Args," is a resident of Antique. He was likewise temporarily staying in the same barangay.

According to initial police reports, the stabbing occurred during a drinking session at a local poultry farm where both men were employed.

A heated misunderstanding reportedly erupted between the two, culminating in Args allegedly stabbing the victim in the lower chest with an unidentified pointed object.
