SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — Noel Estanislao has been formally installed as the new district collector of the Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Subic in a traditional passing of the flag ceremony on Monday.
The turnover ceremony, where outgoing district collector Marlon Fritz Broto handed the customs flag to Estanislao, signified a smooth and dignified transition, underscoring the Port of Subic's commitment to trade facilitation, border protection and revenue generation.
In his speech, Broto expressed gratitude to the personnel, stakeholders and partner agencies for their unwavering support during his tenure at Port of Subic.
He also praised the collective efforts of the team that strengthened operational efficiency and stakeholder engagement, among others. Broto expressed his full confidence that the Port of Subic will continue to achieve great success under Estanislao's leadership.
Estanislao, in his acceptance speech, acknowledged Broto's accomplishments and pledged to sustain and build upon them.

"I am here not to disrupt but to build — to continue what works, challenge what does not and reimagine what we can achieve together," he said.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s Bagong Pilipinas vision that promises responsive, efficient and corruption-free governance.
Estanislao also promised to stay aligned with Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio's 5-Point Priority Program that focuses on digitalization, revenue enhancement, trade facilitation, strengthened border protection and good governance.
Officials and stakeholders also expressed optimism that under Estanislao's leadership, the BOC-Port of Subic will further enhance its vital role in national economic growth and international trade.
