In partnership with one of the country’s leading HMOs, PhilCare, RestART champions the belief that life's most difficult chapters can lead to a renewal of spirit.
Comm&Sense
MANILA, Philippines — Celebrating its 20th year, public relations firm Comm&Sense is reaffirming its status as an industry innovator by turning its “insight-to-impact” philosophy toward social good, launching "RestART: Creative Arts for Healing", a transformative workshop series dedicated to championing mental wellness among special communities.
“Comm&Sense is here to do good business for the long haul” said Comm&Sense President Andy Saracho. “And we’re here, too, as a good corporate citizen doing social business with and for our communities. This series of workshops is a testament to that.”
In partnership with one of the country’s leading HMOs, PhilCare, RestART champions the belief that life’s most difficult chapters can lead to a renewal of spirit. The initiative provides a space for participants, including survivors of abuse, orphans, seniors, and solo parents to refresh their perspectives and restart their lives with a newfound sense of empowerment and purpose.
The RestART series features specialized monthly sessions, each paired with expert facilitators and dedicated community partners:
- Retro Dancing Workshop: Led by licensed dance instructor Ms. Roselle Conde, this session, designed specifically for the senior members of the San Antonio Zumba Troops, promotes active aging and joy through movement.
- Choir Singing Workshop: Facilitated by Ms. Bianca Camille Aguila, this workshop provides a vocal outlet for healing for the young women of CRIBS Foundation, Inc.
- Yoga Workshop: In partnership with OHY Yoga, this session focuses on mindfulness and physical restoration for breast cancer survivors from the Better Days Wellbeing Center.
- Flower Arrangement Workshop: Partnering with Pananom Co Floral Design Atelier PH, participants from the Solo Parents Association - Talon Kuatro will engage in the therapeutic art of floral design.
- Acting Workshop: As part of the program’s expansion, a specialized acting and performance workshop is currently in development for the upcoming months to further broaden the reach of the initiative.
To ensure a “Smarter Healthcare” approach, a mental health counselor from PhilCare will conclude every workshop. This professional presence will allow participants to safely reflect on their experiences, share insights, and receive professional support, as needed.
RestART is one of many pivotal developments in the PR firm’s 20th year aimed at amplifying unheard voices. This ecosystem of impact also includes the launch of House of Talk, a podcast platform dedicated to sharing the stories of the LGBTQ community, mothers and other groups.
