COTABATO CITY, Philippines — A pregnant 17-year-old died after her husband attacked her with a kitchen knife in Barangay Pinaring in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte on Sunday.
Lt. Col. Hector Tanio Jr., Sultan Kudarat police chief, said 21-year-old Akmad Abag was disarmed by residents and yielded to barangay officials.
