MANILA, Philippines — Motorists can expect a rollback on local diesel prices this week, but an increase in prices of local gasoline and kerosene products.
Based on the announcement of the Department of Energy (DOE) on Monday, October 12, prices of oil and fuel products are going in opposite directions again this week:
- Diesel - down by P3.01 per liter
- Gasoline - up by P1.56 per liter
- Kerosene - up by P1.77 per liter
The energy department said domestic prices are directly affected by the mixed price adjustments in the global market.
Global prices of all petroleum products, meanwhile, are affected by China’s temporary suspension on exporting refined petroleum products, availability and cost of middle-distillate fuels, and recent international measures to address diesel shortage.
The new price adjustments will be effective starting 6 a.m on Tuesday, until Monday next week, October 19. Prices may still vary depending on locations and gas stations.
Here are the estimated new prices of local oil and fuel products for October 13-19, 2026.
