MANILA, Philippines – The cast of the musical A Christmas Carol reminds us of the true spirit of the holiday season as they perform on Rappler Live Jam on Thursday, December 18!
Based on the story by Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol follows Ebenezer Scrooge, a grumpy old man who hates Christmas. He is then visited by the spirit of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come.
These visits spark Scrooge’s journey to becoming a better, kinder man.
The musical features a score by Alan Menken — the American composer behind the tunes of many of Disney’s most popular films, such as Beauty and the Beast, Tangled, Pocahontas, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, among others.
