MANILA, Philippines — Two upcoming musical festivals in the United States will stream live globally on platforms Disney+ and Hulu for the first time.

These events are Tennessee's Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival and Chicago's Lollapalooza, the latter of which will feature SB19 — the first time any homegrown Filipino act will be performing at the music festival.

This 2026 marks Hulu's sixth year of offering subscribers exclusive front-row access, now amplified by the global livestream on Disney+ for the streaming of these Live Nation festivals.

Lauren Tempest, Head of Content Planning & Partnerships, DTC at The Walt Disney Company, described musical festivals in a statement as "among the most electric, can't-miss moments in culture" and now subscribers on either platform can join in on the excitement.

"As we continue to extend our live offerings, we remain committed to bringing fans the biggest, most iconic moments right as they happen, and are thrilled to bring that vision to life with Live Nation," Tempest also said.

According to Live Nation's 2025 Living for Live Global Study, 73% of fans say they are listening to more international artists than before while 85% agree live music now transcends borders and languages.

That study was based on a sample of 42,000 respondents between the ages 18 and 54 years old across 15 countries.

"Music festivals used to be experiences reserved for the people who could physically be there," said Kevin Chernett, EVP, Head of Global Media Partnerships at Live Nation. "Now they're becoming global live moments that fans want to experience together in real time, no matter where they are in the world."

Chernett also said that expanding the partnership with both streaming platform allow such festivals to reach music fans on an entirely different scale.

Bonnaroo will take place from June 12 to 15 while Lollapalooza is from July 31 to August 3. Details on the livestreams for each music festival will be made available before the begin.
