Recent cases of erring cops sadden PNP chief

MANILA, Philippines — Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. on Monday said he was saddened by a recent string of cases involving police officers allegedly engaged in criminal activities. “Our salaries and allowances were increased. Our capabilities were enhanced through the allocation of funds, particularly capital outlay for training and other
