Red tide warning up in Leyte town; ban lifted in 3 other areas

TACLOBAN CITY — Authorities have imposed a temporary ban on the gathering and consumption of shellfish from the coastal waters of Leyte town, Leyte province, which has been placed under a local red tide warning after shellfish samples collected from the area tested positive for paralytic shellfish toxin (saxitoxin). In an advisory issued by the
