Rep. Javi Benitez seeks probe into bloody Negros Occidental clash

MANILA, Philippines — Negros Occidental Rep. Javi Benitez has filed a resolution asking appropriate House of Representatives committees to investigate a military operation in Toboso town in his province which led to the death of 19 individuals — including alleged human rights workers and civilians. Benitez in a message to INQUIRER on Wednesday confirmed that he has
