MANILA, Philippines — Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier, Riyadh Air, is opening a direct connection between Manila and Riyadh.
The airline, Saudi Arabia's second official national flag carrier, announced that ticket sales for the new route are now open, with flights to be operated using its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners.
The service will connect Ninoy Aquino International Airport and King Khalid International Airport (RUH). The daily flights are set to begin on Sept. 9, 2026.
Flight RX0873 will depart Riyadh at 1:05 a.m. and arrive in Manila at 3:55 p.m., while the return flight RX0874 will leave Manila at 5:25 p.m. and arrive in Riyadh at 10:15 p.m. Both flights will operate daily.
Riyadh Air said the new route reflects the growing relationship between Saudi Arabia and the Philippines, with travel driven by commercial partnerships, education and leisure and wellness tourism.
The airline said the Manila service will also provide more travel options for the Filipino community in Saudi Arabia while supporting opportunities for trade and cultural exchange.
Passengers flying on the route will travel aboard Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners featuring Business Elite, Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins.
The aircraft will offer features including ergonomic seating, enhanced privacy and storage, Panasonic Avionics’ Astrova entertainment system, mobile-first connectivity, wireless listening and onboard dining options.
Riyadh Air also said it will offer the Sfeer loyalty program, where members can receive benefits such as the “Best Offer Guarantee,” no points expiry, complimentary onboard Wi-Fi and other rewards
The carrier, wholly owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, said it aims to connect passengers to more than 100 destinations worldwide by 2030.
