SHOWBIZ circles know full well there exists a romantic relationship between Ruffa Gutierrez and Herbert Bautista, which the former announced only last year.
Albeit not as much publicized, incredibly by far, they've been a lovely pair for more than four years.
Seemingly proud, we need to understand that Ruffa isn't the type who'd strike a conversation about her personal affairs unless necessary.
She's not also expected to gather her close media friends to sound it off either.
While she may not talk about Herbert too often, it doesn't mean though she couldn't care less about having found her source of joy next to her erstwhile husband-Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas.

Of late, at a recent launch of a skin product of which she's the new ambassador, Ruffa made Ylmas "come alive again."
Flanked by the entertainment media wanting to get enough of her, Ruffa gave significant updates how peacefully well her relationship with her ex-hubby has been.
According to her, Yilmaz — who has never wedded another woman after they divorced many years ago — broached the idea of taking her and their daughters Lorin and Venice on a vacation all over Europe by train.
"I thought it was a joke, like isn't he planning a murder on me on the train or on the plane?" Ruffa ribbed.
If he had his way, Yilmaz would want Ruffa to jet off to Turkey for a heartwarming reunion: "But I refused. I told him he's welcome to visit the Philippinnes anytime he so wishes."
Trusting her gut feel and perspicacity, Ruffa says there seems more to Yilmaz's raring to get a glimpse of her anew.
"I won't say he's courting me again, but he's kinda proposing, wanting to marry me again," Ruffa — who last saw Yilmaz 18 years ago — stated.
Asserting herself this time, Ruffa, more than ever, now realizes her self-worth: "He's traveled around the world yet hasn't found another Ruffa Gutierrez!"
But the unsettling question remains: is she open to the possibility of them getting back together?
Doesn't Ruffa believe in the truism "Love is lovelier the second time around"?
Candid as she has always been, Ruffa replies with a "polite no."
At this point, it's enough to see her lovely daughters more at ease with their dad. In much the same way, Ruffa enjoys "fun moments" with Yilmaz "if only because we can now joke around!"
As regards Yilmaz's financial support to their kids, Ruffa won't divulge the figures: "All I can say is that yes, he doesn't shirk on his responsibility."
Again, is her declaration of "no reconciliation ever" one of finality?
Not one to fake her answer a la Q & A portion in a beauty contest, Ruffa's crown-worthy reply goes: "I'd rather be alone than get stressed!"
Isn't this quite reassuring for Herbert? And sad for Yilmaz with Ruffa bursting his bubble?
