Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S25 FE later this year, and it’s shaping up to be a strong contender for users looking for flagship-level features at a more affordable price point.
According to a report from GalaxyClub, the Galaxy S25 FE carries the model number SM-S731B and codename R13. It’s expected to debut in the fall of 2025 and will ship with One UI 8, Samsung’s latest software based on Android 16.
Unlike previous Fan Edition releases, the Galaxy S25 FE won’t be the next immediate addition to the Galaxy S25 lineup. Instead, it will follow the debut of a new model, the Galaxy S25 Edge, a super-thin variant of the standard Galaxy S25, which is set to be unveiled on May 13.
This marks a shift in Samsung’s release strategy, as the company appears to be expanding the Galaxy S25 family with a broader variety of models to appeal to different user needs
—from budget-conscious buyers to those looking for sleeker, more design-forward devices.
While full specs and pricing are yet to be revealed, fans can expect the S25 FE to deliver a combination of the latest software, dependable performance, and Samsung’s ecosystem advantages, making it a compelling option for those who want premium features without the flagship price.
Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the Galaxy S25 FE’s official launch in the coming months.
