MANILA, Philippines — P-pop girl group BINI is continuing to make its global presence felt after being added to the line-up of this year's Summer Sonic in Japan.

The annual Japanese festival is held simultaneously in Chiba and Osaka, bringing international artists closer to the Japanese people.

The Nation's Girl Group is among the event's, marking its silver edition, latest additions alongside mgk (formerly Machine Gun Kelly), December 10, The Guest List, Humbe, Real McCoy, Crystal Waters, and Thea Austin.

All those mentioned except The Guest List and Humbe will perform on Day 3 of the Chiba leg on October 16 headlined by L'Arc-en-Ciel and Jamiroquai. Also performing that day are Le Sserafim, Pentatonix, and Babymetal.

Prior to that BINI and December 10 will be performing Day 1 of the Osaka leg on October 14, again headlined by L'Arc-en-Ciel and Jamiroquai with Le Sserafim, Pentatonix, Babymetal, and mgk in the line-up too.

The two Summer Sonic performances will take place in the middle of North America leg of BINI's "Signals" world tour which begins in June.

BINI will have a show in San Diego, California on August 8, fly over to Japan, then head out again for a show in Vancouver, Canada on August 18 — two days after the Chiba performance.

Fellow P-pop act SB19 was previously announced to participate in Summer Sonic 2026 as well, performing Day 2 of the Chiba leg on August 15 headlined by Ado and David Byrne.

Alex Warren, Suede, Good Neighbors, and mgk are among those also in that day's line-up.
