SBS Philippines Corp. is proud to announce the launch of its "Used Plastic Bottle Garbage Bin" program, further reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability. This initiative aligns with the Philippine government's efforts to significantly reduce and eventually eliminate plastic waste.

The program will introduce specially designed bins in public spaces, starting with barangay halls. Moreover, it highlights SBS Philippines Corp.'s dedication to corporate social responsibility and its ongoing mission to create a positive environmental impact.

"We are doing this to support the government's initiative to address plastic waste, which is a pressing environmental challenge," says Gerry Tan, president and CEO of SBS Philippines Corp.

As part of its efforts, SBS Philippines Corp. has successfully implemented this program at its facilities in Marilao, Quezon City and Malabon. Consequently, the company has seen encouraging results from these initial implementations.

Building on this success, the company is now collaborating with local barangay offices to expand the program further. By doing so, SBS Philippines Corp. aims to combat plastic waste, which is a major cause of flooding and pollution in land, water and marine environments.
