Senate panel cites alleged smuggler for contempt

MANILA, Philippines — Alleged smuggler and Chinese detainee Chaoqun Shi has been cited in contempt and ordered detained in the Senate for allegedly lying before the committee on agriculture, food and agrarian reform. Shi, also known as Vigour Freezer Lessee Shi, who was previously held in custody by the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation for
