K-drama heartthrob Song Joong-ki has officially arrived in the Philippines for his highly anticipated “IAM Song Joong-ki: Live in Manila”!
Just hours before the big event, the South Korean actor warmly greeted members of the local press and fondly shared his excitement to connect with his Filipino fans finally.
"Tonight later on at the event, I'll be having a great, great time with the fans," he said, translated to English/Tagalog. "I'm looking forward to our event later tonight. "
He also expressed how grateful he was to be recently named as the newest brand ambassador for Filipino health and wellness brand, IAM Worldwide.
"I'm really blessed to be the headliner of IAM Worldwide 2025," he shared. "Napakasarap ng products. I'm able to drink and taste, really experience the products. Really felt the products were healthy," he added.
Although this was only a short trip, Song Joong-ki expressed his desire to explore more of the city, including its local streets, markets, and some of the country's beautiful islands.
"With the invitation of IAM Worldwide, he has come to Manila. He's very grateful for this opportunity to be invited by [the brand]," the translator said. "He mentioned before he really wanted to visit Manila as wellso that really makes up for the gratefulness that he has towards [the company]."
The anticipated "IAM Song Joong-ki: Live in Manila” will take place tonight, 7 p.m., at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Song Joong-ki has captured hearts across the globe with his stellar performances in hit K-dramas such as Arthdal Chronicles, Vincenzo, and Reborn Rich.
His portrayal of iconic characters cemented his status as one of South Korea's top leading men and earned him a strong fan base, especially in the Philippines.
