Last weekend was filled with kilig, laughter, and excitement as fans enjoyed a truly memorable bonding experience with K-drama heartthrob Song Joong-ki.
On May 24, the beloved Vincenzo actor finally met his Filipino supporters at “IAM Song Joong-ki: Live in Manila,” held at the jam-packed Mall of Asia Arena.
But even before the heart-fluttering fan meet, Song Joong-ki had the chance to sit down with members of the local press and shared fun stories during his brief visit to the Philippines.
The South Korean star expressed deep gratitude for the warm welcome, saying he was thrilled to finally meet his fans in Manila up close for the first time.
He also shared on wanting to explore more of the city--including its local streets, markets, and some of the country's beautiful islands.
"The places that the Filipino locals really go on a daily basis, those are the places that [I want] to look around,” the Hallyu icon shared in Korean.
"Due to the short period of time that I have here in the Philippines, I won't be able to make that plan work. But the next time I come back to the Philippines, I really want to pursue that kind of schedule, [that] tour schedule for [the next] visit in Manila.”
