MANILA, Philippines — The Taiwan Tourism Administration will return to the Travel Madness Expo (TME) 2026 with a new campaign to attract more Filipinos to Taiwan.

The annual travel expo will take place from July 10 to 12 at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City.

Located at the Taiwan Pavilion in Halls 1–4 (Booths 81–82), the exhibit will feature interactive activities, travel promotions, and cultural experiences designed to showcase Taiwan’s tourism offerings as part of the country's "Waves of Wonder" campaign.

The agency said Taiwan welcomed more than 620,000 Filipino tourists in 2025, a record-high figure representing a 34.3% increase from the previous year. It added that Taiwan has maintained strong momentum in 2026, ranking as the third most popular outbound destination for Filipino travelers.

Throughout the three-day expo, visitors can participate in activities such as the “Taiwan Kahoot! Challenge,” a travel-themed quiz game, and the “Check It Out Taiwan Travel Challenge,” an interactive video experience highlighting key destinations across the island.

A daily lantern-making workshop will also be offered, giving attendees a hands-on introduction to one of Taiwan’s traditional cultural practices.

Travel planning assistance will be available at the pavilion, where representatives from China Airlines, EVA Air, and STARLUX Airlines will provide information on routes, schedules, and travel updates. Special airfare promotions exclusive to the expo will also be offered.

Visitors who book Taiwan travel products at the event through participating airlines or travel agencies will be eligible for giveaways, including travel bags, digital luggage scales, or travel organizer sets, subject to availability. Additional prizes and souvenirs will also be given to attendees who engage with games and follow the Taiwan Tourism Administration’s social media pages.

The pavilion will also highlight Taiwan’s hot spring destinations, theme parks, seasonal flower attractions, and its Golden Years Tours, a set of certified itineraries designed for accessibility and comfort.
