MANILA, Philippines — After keeping the audience on the edge of their seats for the big cliffhanger on "Squid Game" season 2, the final installment of the thriller series will return to Netflix on June 27.
The streaming giant confirmed the release date of Squid Game 3 with the tease, "Nothing can prepare you for the final season of Squid Game! Squid Game Season 3 premieres June 27."
Meanwhile, @squidgamesnetflix, the official Instagram account of the show, also shared the first look of the upcoming season.
The photos featured Player 456 Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae), Front Man (Lee Byung-hun), Player 120 Cho Hyun-ju (Park Sung-hoon), and Soldier 011 Kang No-eul (Park Gyu-young).

According to the Netflix logline of the show, the third and final season of Squid Game follows Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) as he persists with his goal to put an end to the game, while the Front Man continues onto his next move, and the surviving players' choices will lead to graver consequences with each round.
Show creator and director Hwang Dong-hyuk has vowed to bring the epic story to its deserved closure.
