SSS posted fatter ’25 profits, reserve funds

The Social Security System (SSS) posted a surge in its earnings in 2025 despite the phased pension increase that began in the third quarter of last year. In a statement, the state-run pension fund for private-sector workers said its net income last year surged 58.4 percent to P142.97 billion, surpassing the P100-billion target. The strong
