MANILA, Philippines — The percentage of Filipinos who are happy with their love lives stayed at 46 percent, the lowest in over two decades, based on the latest survey conducted by Social Weather Stations (SWS).
The survey, conducted from Nov. 24 to 30 and released this week ahead of Valentine’s Day, found that only 46 percent of the respondents were “very happy” with their love lives.
It was similar to the survey results released ahead of Valentine’s Day last year, with SWS data showing that this is the lowest since it started asking the poll question in 2002.
The same survey found that 40 percent said their love lives could be happier, up four points from 36 percent obtained in the previous poll.
The remaining 14 percent said they do not have love lives, down from 18 percent.
As of November 2025, happiness with their love lives stayed highest among those married women at 57 percent, following by married men at 55 percent, men with live-in partners at 50 percent and women with live-in partners at 45 percent.
Among those who are single, 22 percent of women and 28 percent of men respondents said they were happy with their love lives.
The survey had 1,200 respondents and a margin of error of plus/minus three percent.
