Taal Volcano records minor eruption

LUCENA CITY — Taal Volcano recorded a minor phreatomagmatic eruption, along with volcanic earthquakes and a tremor, over the past 24 hours, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported on Saturday, April 11. In its bulletin, Phivolcs said that seven volcanic earthquakes and one tremor lasting about one minute were monitored during the period.
