Strava's AI assistant confirms the Tagalog language is now supported on the platform

MANILA, Philippines — Fitness tracking platform Strava has announced support in 10 new languages, including Tagalog.
The additional support is to aid more users — the platform currently has over 195 million users — in tracking their fitness using their native language.
"The announcement underscores the company’s commitment to providing a localized platform experience in additional regions that enables users to make new connections with local communities, find motivation, and achieve their goals," Strava said in a release.
Other than Tagalog, the other new supported languages are Czech, Danish, Malay, Norwegian Bokmal, Polish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish and Vietnamese."
"With the addition of these new languages, Strava is more international than ever before, enabling users to unlock the full Strava experience in their native language," said the platform's chief marketing officer Louisa Wee.
She added that expansion was part of the platform's broader global growth strategy which also includes "regional partnerships, localized content libraries, and market-specific challenges and programs launching later this year."
Free users will now be able to utilize localized features like tracking more than 50 activity types and connect with friends. Paying subcribers can unlock personalized workout recommendations, tools to discover, and plan new Routes.
