MANILA, Philippines — Award-winning singer-songwriter Taylor Swift was put on the spot by naming her favorite songs across her two-decade career.

Taylor was the guest on the December 10 episode of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" — three days before her 36th birthday — to promote her latest album "The Life of a Showgirl," her concert film "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The Final Show," and the docuseries "The End of an Era."

During the show Stephen brought up a challenge he'd given the likes of Dolly Parton, Elton John, Paul Simon, and Bruce Springsteen: name your top songs from your own catalog.

The singer admitted she needed more time to complete a Top 5, "I think I require a little bit of time to appreciate my work in a way, and it's constantly changing and it's too soon."

She did outright say her personal top pick is "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)," a vault track from her "Red (Taylor's Version)" that came out in 2021.

That album was a re-recording of her 2012 "Red" album as at the time she was still disputing the master recordings of her previously-released songs.

The selection earned applause from the crowd, speaking to the shared adoration for the track revolving around a fallen relationships.

Taylor then shared praise for the tracklist of "The Life of a Showgirl" which is why she couldn't complete the Top 5, but did say somewhere in that list is "Mirrorball" from 2020's "Folklore" which earned another round of applause.

"Mirrorball" is the sixth track on the album which earned Taylor her third Album of the Year Grammy — she would go on to win a record fourth for "Midnights."

"Can we do an update at some point if I have some time to look back?" Taylor asked to which Stephen agreed.

There are no hints yet that Taylor is working on a new album, which would be her 13th (and as Swifties know, is her lucky number), though a majority of her focus may be on her upcoming wedding to star athlete Travis Kelce. — Video from the YouTube channel of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert"
