TechLife has officially launched its newest budget tablet in the Philippines—the TechLife Pad Plus 12″—designed to deliver an expansive viewing experience and smart features at an affordable price point. Priced at PHP 9,999, with an online intro price as low as PHP 7,699, the device is now available nationwide and comes packed with premium features typically found in higher-end models.

The tablet features a sleek zinc alloy chassis with a stylish mix of brushed and polished metal finishes, giving it a premium look and feel. Up front, users are greeted by a spacious 12-inch WUXGA+ IPS display with a 2000 x 1200 resolution, 85% screen-to-body ratio, 400 nits brightness, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate—great for casual streaming, browsing, and productivity. At 194 pixels per inch, visuals appear crisp enough for media consumption and multitasking.

Under the hood, the TechLife Pad Plus 12″ is powered by a MediaTek Helio G91 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, built on a 12nm process. It’s paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 8GB more through dynamic RAM expansion, resulting in a total of 16GB of effective memory. Storage is generous at 256GB, expandable via microSD up to 1TB, offering ample room for apps, files, and offline media.

The battery is another standout—an 8,000mAh unit that supports 18W fast charging via USB-C and 5W reverse charging, making it capable of topping up smaller devices. TechLife claims it can deliver up to 12.7 hours of continuous music playback at full volume, a solid indicator of its all-day potential.

For photography and video calls, the tablet includes a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and an 8MP front camera. Audio is enhanced with a quad-speaker setup, promising loud and immersive stereo sound. It also supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi dual-band (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth, and a single SIM slot, making it a versatile device for both work and play.

Running on Android 15 with TechLife’s custom Pad UI, the device integrates Google’s Gemini AI capabilities, hinting at smarter interactions and productivity tools baked into the system. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, light, proximity, orientation, sound, and magnetic field detection—offering full-featured functionality that’s rare at this price tier.

The TechLife Pad Plus 12″ is offered in three elegant colors: Storm Grey, Sky Blue, and Moonlight Silver. In addition to the device itself, TechLife is offering compelling launch promotions. Buyers who purchase until May 21, 2025, at TechLife Concept Stores will receive a free keyboard case. From May 22 to 25, purchases come with a TechLife Folio Case and Buds Class 2 wireless earphones.

Online shoppers can grab the tablet on platforms like Shopee and TikTok Shop for as low as PHP 7,699 and still enjoy a free keyboard case worth PHP 1,999.

This latest release builds on the success of last year’s original TechLife Pad, offering a much larger display, significantly upgraded internals, and smarter software—all while maintaining an accessible price tag. For students, mobile workers, or casual users looking for a feature-rich Android tablet without breaking the bank, the TechLife Pad Plus 12″ makes a strong case.
