CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — A power distributor in Oriental Mindoro has placed its system on alert and is preparing for possible manual load dropping (MLD) on Friday as electricity demand is expected to exceed available supply. In a 10 a.m. advisory, Ormeco Inc. said it is in “operational readiness” for MLD implementation during morning,
