THE Westin Manila partners with plant-based chef and wellness consultant Cinty Yñiguez for the fourth installment of Green Mondays, featured every Monday from June 9 to 30, 2025, at the One Dish Wonders station of Seasonal Tastes' lunch buffet.
Launched in November 2024, Green Mondays is part of the hotel's Eat Well program and promotes sustainability through zero-waste, plant-based menus. Previous editions included collaborations with local chefs and brands like Cosmic Philippines, offering plant-based versions of Filipino comfort food.
This June, Chef Rej Casanova joins Yñiguez of Naked Foods to serve plant-based takes on Southeast Asian dishes. Highlights include gluten-free, keto-friendly Skinny Pad Thai; Crispy Szechuan Mushrooms with a tangy tamarind glaze; and No-Bake Banoffee Pie made with coconut caramel and dairy-free whipped topping.
Yñiguez, founder of Naked Foods and the Culinary Wellness Academy, has followed a plant-based lifestyle for 25 years. She encourages mindful, gradual transitions to clean eating, starting with one plant-based meal a week.
Through this partnership, Westin Manila offers guests delicious, accessible options that support a healthy lifestyle. Select Naked Foods products, like the Crispy Sisig Burrito and Mediterranean Garden Shawarma, are also available at the Deli in the Lobby Lounge.
