MANILA, Philippines—Thirdy Ravena is currently looking at different options before making his next career move.
And while the PBA isn’t on his list at the moment, Ravena stressed that playing in the country’s pioneering pro league remains one of his goals.
“The PBA is never not an option for me, it’s always been a dream of mine to play in the PBA,” Ravena said at SM Megamall on Sunday. “It’s not a matter of if I’ll play but rather when I’ll play there but for sure, I do want to play in the PBA.”

Ravena is coming off a lackluster stint in Dubai, where he saw little exposure. But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been putting in the work. In fact, the Ateneo product was part of the Gilas Pilipinas team that won gold in the 2025 Southeast Asian Games.
So it’s safe to say that the guard is still game-ready despite not having a team for the past few months.
PBA-ready, though, is a different story.
That same topic got some loud buzz when Thirdy was seen talking with Levanga Hokkaido import Dwight Ramos and PBA commissioner Willie Marcial on Thursday on the first day of the B.League Final Week in Manila. Ravena, however, cleared they were all just catching up.
“We were just playing around and talking about our experiences.”
“It’s just good to catch up with family because I haven’t seen Dwight or Kume for the longest time so it was just catching up.”
