CAMP JULIAN OLIVAS, Pampanga — Two minors and a 1-year-old child died after they were trapped in a burning house in Bulakan, Bulacan, on Friday.
According to Bulakan Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office chief Rosario Mariano, the victims were identified as Irish Clouie Panambo, 16, her 1-year-old brother Jaden Ivan Alvarez, and cousin Jerylien Gail Hernandez, 15, all residents of Purok 2, Barangay Bambang.
Initial investigation showed that the fire occurred at around 12:30 p.m. on May 30.
The police said the fire started at the residence of Angelica dela Cruz Silva, the mother of the 1-year-old child.
Silva was reportedly at work when the fire engulfed her house and trapped the three victims inside.

The victims could not be saved due to the rapid spread of the fire.
The fire was put out at around 1:30 p.m., according to a Bureau of Fire Protection investigator, adding that the investigation is still ongoing to determine the exact cause of the fire as well as to assess the total extent of the damage.
